Overview: NetSuite 2022 Release 1

We can’t get over how quickly time flies. Already we are nearly finished with January for 2022, and it is getting closer to the first NetSuite release of the year!

A sneak preview of 2022.1 has arrived and as always it is due to bring some exciting new features and updates that we have come to expect. Grab a cup of your finest whilst we go through the latest offerings from the upcoming Release 2022.1…

Cash 360

If I said to you that NetSuite release 2022.1 includes the Cash 360 dashboard, what would you say? Exactly! You would be excited for this new feature which will enable you to manage your cashflow in real time with fast and accurate, near-term cash flow forecasts.

Cash 360 simplifies managing cash flow by providing a configurable dashboard which monitors your receivables, payables, and cash position in real time. It provides an improved cash forecast by looking at multiple data entry points such as your billing schedules, sales forecasts, new funding sources, planned expenditure and open AP/AR transactions.  Brilliant news!

All of this is shown on a friendly and easy to navigate dashboard, which will no doubt help to manage your cashflow and understand your cash flow projection, only allowing you to make more informed business decisions and assist with any desired growth and expansion.

Project 360

Going along with the theme of “360” comes the new “Project 360” dashboard which brings together all aspects of a project into a single place within NetSuite’s SuiteProjects module.

Project managers, or anyone needing to see data from a project, will have visibility into all areas of information relating to their project. This includes the data needed to manage clients, manage project resources, and enabling you to accurately manage project budgeting, profitability, and informative reports.

The 360 Dashboard will be a must have for anyone who manages multiple projects and oversees crucial KPI’s. And when it comes to bill for a project, there is a new customisable invoice presentation template, so clients get the information they need to pay the invoice and you get payments quicker. What more do you need!

Improved Warehouse Management Controls

Good news for anyone making use of NetSuite WMS. And no, it’s not WMS 360, however, new features are being released in 2022.1. These features will provide improved efficiencies within zone and pick management, including zone pick and merge functionality as part of single and multi-order picking processes. Within NetSuite, you can now assign specific workers to specific zones which decrease pick time, and increase orders out, helping your warehouse function seamlessly.

Added WMS usability and controls will also allow users to search and print item labels from any screen and the new tally scan functionality counts items as they are scanned, which obviously only adds to the ease of usability for your warehouse staff, increasing productivity.

While we have only selected three areas of the NetSuite 2022.1, you can view NetSuite’s Sneak Peak and read through some of advantageous functionality that will be released within 2022.1, and for those who use NetSuite, the notes are also available on your home dashboard. It’s safe to say that this release will certainly help most NetSuite users improve their processes, increasing productivity and cutting costs. Here at the 3EN Group, we are certainly excited to make use, and help our businesses make use, of what will be offered to them.
